| Prayer Shawls Members of our congregation knit shawls while praying for whoever the final recipient of the shawl might be. The shawls, lap blankets, and children’s blankets are then labeled and made ready for people of the congregation, community, and friends across the country that are in need of prayers, comfort and unconditional love. Each Prayer Shawl is accompanied with a note card with a prayer. Since 2005, St. James Presbyterian Church has presented over 110 Prayer Shawls, Lap Robes, and Youth Blankets to friends in our church, our friends in the community and people in need across the country. |
